My experience with Emirates

I think I would prefer Quantas. I remember my Quantas flights and they seem more organised and staff better trained with customer service then Emirates.  In my last two flights they seemed bit unorganised.
Last night my flight was cancelled from Rio to Dubai. There were only two ladies that need to reorganise the whole plain of people and explain the situation. We waited long cue.
They were very polite and put us all in Hotel Winsdor Guerana ( something like that). They gave us taxi vouchers that took us to hotel. I spent beautiful and restful day in Rio. Although trained I loved the smile the Emirates staff put on when dealing with passengers.

Charging the phone on the Aeroporto Rio De Janeiro

Many people said to me to be careful on this airport and in Rio, but I found it no much more different or dangerous then any other airport in the world. I have to tell you that you can charge your phone on the seats there while waiting. There is a even seats where you can put your feet up and snooze a bit. Shops with souvenirs and some coffee shops are on all night. I have three hours wait to my flight to Dubai and it went really quick. You also have free internet here but just for an hour!

Madarica without Eggs and milk (Madarica bez jaja i mlijeka)

This recepie is the one my mother in law brought from her family in Bosnia.  On the Island of Ugljan in Croatia where Im from in the village of Kali this cake of my mother in law is the most well known. It is that popular that she bake it for almost every village wedding! Ingredients: 600 g flour of your choice 50 g nutelex 150g sugar 1 Ts baking powde 1/2 Ts sodium bicarbonate 6-7 Tbs Toffuti or water or almond milk. Filling: If you visit some European Deli shop and buy Pudding powder you don't need this. You will just have to put powder in 500ml of water or coconut milk and boil it for few minutes. That is what I have done. I bought some German brand pudding powder.
