How can I forgive or why should I?

Image
How many times people, places, family, circumstances, acts.. were responsible for our misery and we thought; why we should be the ones to forgive? What is there for us to forgive? Do we see we act victim here? Why, do you know you can do something about this since other side don't know what, how or want? Why should you? Well, for your own sake, peace of mind and health and if you are Christian that is what Jesus would like you to do ( or your healthy mind). You think it is worth it? Every one with at least little intelligence will put that angry and guilt demon aside, and act as a proper adult here! On a practical level, our lack of forgiveness is very much de-energizing and is making you low and tired. Here is how it works: If we haven’t “let go,” the anger or resentment we hold on to keeps us tied to those we don’t forgive. Our attention sets up a circuit of energy and, whether we are consciously aware of it or not, some of our energy is always flowing along

Living among Aboriginal Culture

Image
Once upon a time I read a book about the lady that went to live with Aboriginals in Australia. That book is one of the reasons we choose to call this land our new home. Living in Melbourne I never came into contact with the representatives of this people, except once on "Listen to the Land" bushwalk with uncle Lionel of Mornington Peninsula. He took us over for the bushwalk talking and showing us native plants, animal, paths. Moving to Queensland where many Aboriginal people live and where every place has a significant history, I discovered Kabi Kabi people. We nestled in a little seaside place call Ningi, that got its name after the oysters. This area is chosen by elders as initiation area for entering adulthood for boys when they are 14 years old. Close to us is the sacred gathering place called Gubbi, that only initiates can enter. Today we have met the Elder of these people, and he thought us many amazing things that show how these people are real custodians, ca

Five things you should know about Tibetan prayer flags and how, why to use them (happy Lunar New year)

Today is a Lunar new year of the Pig and the new Moon. Great time to finish something old, observe your lessons and start something new. As every new beginning, it should be greeted with auspicious activities like visiting the place of higher, purer energy, doing the good or as they do in Tibet hang the prayer flags. We have decided to visit the Tibetan monastery, and we learnt something we didn’t know about the significance of prayer flags. I never knew there is a good or not as good day to hang them, or what is the meaning of prayers and difference between them. Last year we hang one pair of them for fun at our balcony. Since we live next to the busy road we always feel like we need some wall to feel secured from the cars and noise they are making. Guess what, since the flags came up I started to have this feeling we have some invisible wall and started having my quiet evenings at the balcony. I didn’t say anything to anyone, until one day my husband came and notice the sam

The daily descent of karma (law of action and reaction)

Your Daily Descent of Karma  Each day our karma comes down to us in a little brown paper bag. If we can rise early and give our prayers and fiats quickly before we go to work—or whatever is on our schedule—we can get a great percentage of that day's karma out of the way. However, a portion of the day's karma that is sent our way may be from actions dating all the way back to our lives on Lemuria and Atlantis. If we don't clear it, it just sits on us all day long and piles up in our electronic belt. Without being too concerned about it, we can accept that each day we are going to have a certain amount of karma returned to us because we asked for it and set ourselves on the path to the ascension. Our karma is also returning to us more speedily than to those not on the Path, but by the grace of God and by the mercy of the violet flame we can daily transmute it if we will. Freedom from the bondage of karma can come only when the law of cause and effect has b
