The Best of Thai Vegan Delights

This recepie is great as a entrée or main dish serve with rice and salad. It is very delicious and I will definitely cook it again🤗💖

Fried Beancurd in savory syrup

  Ingredients:

3 cakes firm bean curd
3 tbs oil
3 shallots, sliced
1 small dried spur cholli, sliced
1/4 cup palm sugar or brown sugar
1/4 cup tamarind juice
1/4 cup soy sauce
Coriander

Preparation;

Wash and cut bean curd into quarters.
Fry separately the shallot, garlic, chilli and set aside.
Fry the bean curd until golden in the oil which the shallots were fried.
Return the pan to the heat and to the remining oil add sugar, tamarind and soy sauce. Cook with regular stirring until thick.
Put the curd on the plate pur the syrup over it and sprinkle fried garlic, shallots and chilli. Garnish with coriander .
