Madarica without Eggs and milk (Madarica bez jaja i mlijeka)

This recepie is the one my mother in law brought from her family in Bosnia.

 On the Island of Ugljan in Croatia where Im from in the village of Kali this cake of my mother in law is the most well known. It is that popular that she bake it for almost every village wedding!

Ingredients:

600 g flour of your choice
50 g nutelex
150g sugar
1 Ts baking powde
1/2 Ts sodium bicarbonate
6-7 Tbs Toffuti or water or almond milk.

Filling:
If you visit some European Deli shop and buy Pudding powder you don't need this.
You will just have to put powder in 500ml of water or coconut milk and boil it for few minutes. That is what I have done. I bought some German brand pudding powder. If you don't have it use this recepie:

100 g Cacao powder
250g sugar
1L Almond or some other milk
6 Tbs flour
250g nutelex

Chocholate top:

200g nutelex
200g dark chocholate

Preparation:

Make a dough from flour, nutelex, sugar, baking powder, sodium bicarbonate and tofutti or water/milk.
Divide it on 5 same pieces. I use measuring scale to make sure they are all the same.
After you develop it for a medium baking tray bake it on 180C for about 7-10min. Don't wait until you see dark yellow ends!
I bake it on the top of my tray on a baking paper. Heat up your stove on 180C beforehands too.
Continue until all layers are separate baked. I put them one on the top another as I bake.

Preparing the cream filling is easy if you use pudding powder mixed with 500ml of coconut milk and boil for 4 min. You have instructions on the sachet.
If not this what you do:
Cacao powder, sugar mix with 1dcl water and warm it up on the stove until everything disolves.
Separately mix flour with milk until is smooth and add to boiling mixture of cacao and sugar. Stir constantly on a lower fire until it thicken. Then leave it for about 10min. Then add the nutelex and mix it up.I use mixer to make sure it is smooth.

Now you put the layers and pudding togeather. Take 4 soup bowls and divide the cooked pudding to have an even amount in each.
Put first layer on bottom of the tray and spread one pudding from the bowl on it. Cover it with the new layer. Continue until you finish layers and pudding.
Press everything so it is evenly spread.
Leave it be for few hours of you can. If you don't continue with last chocholate top;

Put nutelex and chocholate to melt on the steam and spread on the top layer.
I sprinkled some shredded coconut in it on the end.

This cake need to be in the fridge at least 5-6 hrs to have best result.
